Public engagement
The Italian National Agency for the Evaluation of Universities and Research Institutes (ANVUR) defines Public Engagement as the "set of organized activities at an institutional level by a University, through its dedicated structures, in a no-profit attitude, with an educational goal, within a perspective of social development and cultural enhancement, to engage with a non-academic audience".
